Supporting Learners, Empowering Schools

FYNEX has been the premier wellness partner for Wise Owl Group of Schools for three years running, delivering over 7,000 mental wellness engagements across their Harare and Marondera campuses. This partnership has been the proving ground where FYNEX sharpened its school wellness model into one of the most comprehensive in Zimbabwe.

Our school-based programmes are designed to meet learners where they are — addressing friendship problems, academic pressure, grief, trauma, and anxiety through culturally grounded, evidence-based approaches.

Our Programmes

• Individual Student Counselling — One-on-one sessions for learners in primary and secondary school
• Preventative Programmes — Assembly talks, group workshops, and theme-based interventions on healthy friendships, digital safety, GBV awareness, and exam wellness
• Empathy Education — Interactive empathy curricula (Grades 1–7) including workbooks, bingo games, scenario cards, and mantras
• Peer Counsellor Clubs — Training student peer counsellors, assembly talks, and leadership development
• Group Therapy — Facilitated group sessions for shared experiences and collective healing
• Staff Wellness — Support programmes for teachers and school staff
• Life Skills Lessons — Structured guidance and counselling (G&C) integrated into the school curriculum

International Recognition

Our school model has earned recognition from Save the Children Norway and the Ministry of Education — validation that a culturally rooted, professionally delivered approach to school mental health works in Zimbabwean contexts.
